What is "Kodama"?
Kodama is a type of Shinkansen, which stops at every station between Tokyo and Shin-Osaka, including Shizuoka, Nagoya, Kyoto and so on, and runs approximately 1 to 2 train(s) per hour. Enjoy a little slower Shinkansen trip on Kodama with stunning scenery from the train windows!

You can purchase tickets online from 10:00a.m. JST one month before (same day of the previous month) to 11:30p.m. a day before the bording date!
Notes
- *Reservations cannot be changed (excl. seat changes within the same train).
- *Valid only for reserved seats on reserved trains (non-reserved seats are not available for use).
- *You are not permitted to get on/off the train at any stations other than the stations you reserved(*).
- *Concerning Tokyo station and Shinagawa station, you can get on/off at either station (limited to manned ticket gates).
- *Travel charge may change depending on the date of the reservation and the date you select.
